Electronic Requirements
Advertising should be submitted on disk. Please meet the following requirements:

• High Resolution PDF files are preferred. InDesign or QuarkXPress formats are also accepted. Please submit along with the file: all typefaces, all imported graphics, all high-resolution scans and a color correct proof.


• Use Type 1 PostScript fonts only. We recommend the use of Type 1 PostScript fonts from the Adobe type library. Include the screen font (font suitcase or bitmap font) and all PostScript printer fonts for all typefaces used in your document and any linked artwork. Do not use TrueType fonts. Be sure to supply all fonts used, including those that may be embedded in imported graphics.


• The resolution of scanned images is critical for good reproduction. Minimum resolution for photographs is 300 dpi (or ppi) at 100% size. Minimum resolution for line art scans is 1200 dpi (or ppi) at 100% size.


• Uneditable PostScript files, such as Quark EPS, are unacceptable. No postscript files accepted unless they are created as EPS files in programs such as Illustrator, Freehand or Photoshop.


• For verification of the final output of your ad, please include a printout or proof as a guide for color matching and breakdown.

Contract and Copy Regulations
Advertising copy, contracts and orders are subject to the publisher's acceptance. Publisher reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertisement that does not conform to the editorial or graphic standards of Cliff Dweller Magazine. Every effort will be made to comply with ad placement requests; however, final ad position is at the discretion of the publisher. Cancellations or changes are not accepted after closing dates. Publisher is not responsible for errors in key code numbers or reader service numbers. Advertising agencies are responsible for payment of all advertising space ordered.

Bleed
10% premium. Available on full pages and spreads. Bleeds are available on spreads and full pages. Preferred position is available on half page ads or larger for a 15% premium. All material and negatives will be destroyed after 12 months, unless otherwise instructed. Cancellation of any portion of a contract voids all rate and position protection. Publisher reserves the right to repeat the last standing ad or to charge for space reserved if acceptable copy is not received by deadline.
